Drone Testing – Funding Available at Skellefteå Droneport

As one of Europe’s largest urban-adjacent drone airports, Skellefteå Droneport provides a state-of-the-art environment for testing, development, training, and commercialization. Starting in November, conditions will also allow for cold-weather testing in sub-zero temperatures, with the possibility of snow.

Funding Offer

Selected companies can receive up to SEK 50,000 in financial support to cover costs related to test activities. A total of five projects will be awarded during 2025. Companies granted support will have full access to Skellefteå Droneport during their testing days.

Eligibility & Evaluation

Tests must be carried out before December 31, 2025.

Applications will be assessed based on:

• A clear purpose
• Feasibility of implementation
• Added value of the test activities
